i just got an 07 450r and i was wondering if it would hurt it if i took the baffle out?
u might have some jetting reaction, but u might not. 50/50 chance
imo, leave it in and get a slip on or something.
slip on with air lid on only requires a bump on the main jet very easy and u will notice a bit of more power, awesome looks and sound.
if u go hmf its only 220 bucks and u can add the hrc kit after that, it works with it perfect.

Honda sells the new quads really lean to meet emisions standards bump the main jet up and you will increase hp

on my 06 its jetted for no lid, 165 main, stock 42 pilot, 55 leak, and the crf needle is on the 3rd clip, I also have the baffle out with the spark arrester back in.
