problem with 450r carb clearance

sup guys i have a 2001 440ex, well im building it currently. I have alittle problem with the choke lever on the carb and the fuel petcock on the fuel tank. if i push the choke up, it will hit the fuel tank petcock. Anyone else have this problem? What did u do to solve this? Will a 450r petcock work on the 400's? Thanks.

I just removed the choke lever altogether. A couple blips of the throttle before cranking is all it's needed so far.

I agree, take the choke lever off altogether. Just twist the throttle a few times before starting. This will pump raw gas right into the carb, it has an accelerator pump. My quad will start in 10 degree weather without a choke.
