I think it looks kinda stupid, but my freinds(all 3 of them)like it.Maier CF not so impressive,Maybe it will grow on me though, but hey at least it will look good when covered in mud tomorow:D

looks tight like u said the cf look isnt that impressive its almost to light. but hey atleast its not the average quad tech hood

well the Maier is not real CF, just an attempt to make plastic look like CF.

not to bad, but personally i don't like the Faux Carbon fiber. the real stuff looks much better, but is also much more expensive as well.

not tryin to hijack your thread but is there any cowl hoods that will work with the stock headlights i ride at nights sometimes and i like the look of the headlights and wanted a cowl hood for my 05

Thanks guys,I am actually am starting to like it a lot more.It is just a little more greyish :ermm: than I thought it would be.And about the a.m. hood that keeps the lights,I've never seen one but there might be one out there it seems like companies are gettin more 400 freindly lately.Its funny I got rid of my lights for looks mostly and 3 days after i put it on I was riding at dusk on my backyard jumps got sketched on a landing and folded a lower a-arm around a tree,w/ my lights I probably would of hit the middle of the jump landing me in the middle of the trail!! oh well win some, lose some I guess:D

Very true,I gotta funny feeling I'm gonna be spending alot of $ on my quad in the near future.450 fronts and pegs are on the way and I'm allready pricing out pipes,I can see this gettin out of hand.:D

yeah i saw that one but i didnt really like it and i wanted one that was like the cowl hoods
