I migh be parting my 300ex out to fund for a Cannondale build but I would like to sell the motor first. It just got a top end rebuild and cam chain that just got broken in. It sat for a yearish, cleaned the carb, bought a new battery and it fired and ran great the 1st push of the button. It is still in the frame and all together so I can get a video of it running for the serious buyers. I can include the carb and wiring harness too. Looking to get $390 plus shipping.

Here's a picture of the 300. No wheels or tires also.

I am very interested, where in Illi you from, how far from Iowa? I would also like the battery box and start assembly, basically turn a 250x into a 300ex...
