Small holes forming in the radiator

My friend has a stock 2005 450r with a racing pipe. He has small holes forming on the top part of his radiator by the fins causing coolent to leak out slowly. He ordred a second hand radiator and had the same problem, he said it seemed like it was due to corrosion. So now he ordered 3rd radiator this time a high volume racing radiator. Has anybody heard of this problem and knows what might be causing it?

this is just a suggestion but tell him to switch coolants. i run that engine ice stuff and it works pretty good. or hp coolant

My first radiator had holes that were caused by the fan hitting it. This was because radiator was bent from a wreck though. Is it near the fan?
