Well I found a 2001 cbr f4i that I can get a good deal on. What do you guys think? I'm going for what's comfortable and what i can afford. NOT what's the fastest. For $120/month (thats the loan and FULL coverage) its an awesome deal.

how long is the loan or whats the total for the bike? anything longer then 2 years at 120 a month i would say is not really a "good deal" .... also if ur 6 foot or bigger ur gonna get cramped up on it

Go for it buddy... I just got back from a ride on my r6 and it was an AWESOME ride... Just road through a canyon for an hour and then back to my house. :)

hey whatever works. stay safe.

but honduh440 is right. hondas are the smallest streetbikes out and the seats are like plywood wrapped in cloth. if it works for you rock it.

ummmmm.....I'm not a math expert, but that would be a really cheap 2001 f4i...especially counting insurance.

Its kinda high but its in PERFECT condition and the guy has taken EXCELLENT care of it. What I can't figure out is how I managed to get full coverage for only $30/month. :eek2:

$4800 is not a "great" deal yeah, but it's not that bad. Bikes are typically more expensive up this way and you see people trying to get $5500 still for a bike like that with high miles.

If you can shop around a bit you should be able to find a 2004-2005 for roughly the same money....low $5g's or so. But that's up to you...the bike is basically the same either way.

the insurance however is an incredibly good deal.

I sold my 03 F4i for $5,500 (sold it in the fall of 04) .... it was mint and only had 7k miles.

IMO thats way too much $$$ for that bike.

It's deff. higher than market value no doubt.....though I have seen worse deals.

Like I said, I would personally spend a couple hundred bucks more on an '05 or so even though they are essentially the same bike.

my buddy just bought a 02 F4i with a M4 exhaust, seat covers, new tires, and a few other lil goodies for 3,600$ in mint condition with 7,000 miles to give u an idea... the price of F4is are dirt cheap!

to give u an idea of performance his bikes not far behind my 600rr in a race... infact they are pretty dang close in a straight line drag race... the biggest differnce between the F4i and the other bikes is the cornering after 80mph ruffly... its easier to corner on the 600rr... his bikes def more comfortable than mine...

Yeah up here bikes are high priced for some reason...it would be hard to find that bike for much under $4500 believe it or not...crazy I know.

I remember when the RR's first came out they did a track test between them and all of the 600's....I'm pretty sure the F4i had a faster time around the track? What is up with that? I can't really believe that would be true. It was cycle world...not sure if I still have the issue, or maybe I'm just crazy.
