View Full Version : couple bearing carrie questions

well i have the carrier out of the house have the sprocket and sprocket holder off the axle, and the brakes and disk off the other side now how do i get the axle out the carrie any kind of trick? then leads to my second question grease what grease should i use when i put the new carrier in thanks

Well I do not no, but get one that greases it self, mines in the stealer shop with a new carrier and bearings and a nice 575 dollar bill.

take the hub off and the brake rotor,locknut,and just slide the axle out. Did you take off the little clips?

I usually leave the bearing carrier in the housing and just tap the end of the axle out to any side and it comes right out.As for grease I just use bearing grease that you put on with your fingers. Good luck.

lol ya kickstart everythings off the axle execpt the carrier (hows the pit doing by the way) and es good idea wish i would think before i come crying on here lol :)

o ok didn't really know if you had no idea how to take one off OR you just couldn't get it off :p

The pit is good she is 23 pounds now and her legs are getting long. Her face is also getting bigger.

wow mines about 35 ive been feeding him bill jack and giving him some vitamns but ya ive done this before i just cant get the axle out of the carrier i just tried rubber mallet and a 3lb hammer with a block of wood still no dice :-/

well i just weighed here now and she weighs 27

I couldn't imagine her being 35 :o

we were feeding mine nutro diet food i was like man he need to gain some weight so i can build him up :) so i asked some people on here

i got the axle out finally just wasnt puting enough into my swings lol hopefully the new carrier will be in 2marrow :)
