big problem need help

i just got stock 300ex shocks off ebay for my 250ex but they dont fit. i know people do it so please help me

are you sure 300 shocks fit the 250 ex maybe you have it confused with the 250x im not sure though

You have to machine or clearance the bottom mount and then you have to use some sort of spacers for the top mount like washers or something. I installed 300EX Front shocks on my wifes 250EX to gain some adjustment. They work pretty well but aren't a direct bolt up
