Are Cometic or OEM Headgaskets better?

i run cometic for the price, but both are 3 layer steel.

i like cometic because it is a big bore gasket, but if you used stock, it would slightly raise your comp ratio.

Were can I find the best deal on either of these? I ordered a cometic kit from rocky mountain atv like a week ago, but they are saying I wont get it until like april 5. So I am gonna order another from somewhere else.

colby, is the cometic topend kit the steelflex? i want to get the layered metal one.. but im not sure if cometic sells only those or what....:confused:

come of the cometic ones are the paper with the steel ring in the center, when I order mine I make sure I have the 3 piece steelflex which we stock tons of these gasket kits.

how do you find out which is which? im going to be ordering through my local dealer, so do i jus tell him to make sure its the 3 piece steelflex type?
