The Youth and Womens class are both becoming not only a large part of the sport, but also fast and competitive .

The youth class alone having 13 different classes to chose from in the WORCS series so that any level of youth rider will have a class to race in.

Round 3 was held in Lake Havasu Az.

The Youth classes are shortened up and the course is well routed as well to ensure the riders safety.

Taylor Guy gets off to a rough start,but makes a come back .
His fastest lap time in lap 2 and moving up to the 1st place position in lap 4!

#62 Taylor Dixon was in 3rd but falls back to 4th in lap 3, finishing the race with a 4th place finish.

By lap 3 ,Sheble falls back conserably to 7th place .

Cole Fite gains a few positions from 5th to 2nd and wraps up the race with a 2nd place finish.

In the Youth Shifter class
#18y Parker Taylor would take home the podium finish on his Cr85 hybrid.
Parker Also had the fastest lap time in Lap 2.

Unfortunatly for the shifter youth class, Kyle Gillespie would end up with a DNF.

In the 71-90 mod class #110y Tommy Harris would be the leader for the 1st lap ,but #32 rider Grant Mitchell would take the lead.

#34y Raycen Snow , #14y Justin Bennett and Tommy Harris would exchange postions threwout the race battling for 2nd and 3rd position.
Raycen would take 2nd in Lap 4 with Bennett hot on his trail.

It was down to the wire with only a fraction of a second between them !
Bennett will have to settle for a 3rd on the podium this round.

LockJaw racing provided holeshot awards to some the classes
This is a great thing to have for anyone at any age racing to protect from chin injuries.

Caide overcome a tough wk. end racing at round 2 as she was ran over by another mini when she was launched off her quad. Caide made a come back for Round 3 as she would take the lead and take it all the way to the checker for a 1st place finish.
She also had fastest lap time in lap 6.

This is such a great race to watch- the 50cc stock 4-6 yr class..
This is truly where all the racing begins :)

ExtrememiniquadsNW rider #222p Missy Taylor gets off to a rough start in 6th place place for one lap ,but gets ahold of things and moves up to an impressive 2nd place in lap 2!
She gets out front in lap three and takes home the checker
Not bad a 4 year old!:eek:

Local rider #1485 Kourtney Heald would be Rolla's competition and settles for a spot on the poduim with a 3rd place finish.
Im sorry, but for some reason this one one rider I somehow did not get a shot of. I try my best to get several pictures of all the riders so that one rider is not missed.:confused:

Ill now move on to the Womens class
It was a great pleasure to meet some the women in the series and get to talk with them .Ill be working on rider Interviews over the next two rounds as well as 2 Youth riders,so make sure to watch for those!

Back for the series this year is #130 Julie Russell
Julie was out from a shoulder injury last season and is ready to get back into the swing of things and plans to race alot more in the following season .

In the Womens B class, it would be Atvriders member adrenalinefreak who would take home the 2nd place ,this was also her 1st race in the B class,moving up from C class after round 2.
Watch for Donna at future rounds as she will possibly be racing the new KFX450 at the next round!:macho

The winner for the womens B class was # 911 Kalyce May and ran the fastset lap time in lap 2.

That was all the time I had for Coverage for this round, I will be doing more Coverage on the Womens classes, including the C class in the upcoming rounds. Theres just so much to cover and not enough time to do it all.

Round 4 takes place in Idaho at Clay Peak MX Park April 6-8th.
