slow leak

one of my rear tires has a slow leak...air usually last about one week. I think the leak is coming from area that is plugged. would something like a can of fix a flat be ok to solve this problem?

don't use fix a flat,find the leak an plug it..over fill the tire with air and spray the area you think is leaking with glass cleaner or soapy water an if it bubbles you'll know its leaking an if its not do the same to the hole tire to find the leak.don't forget to check the bead also.
