i cant find the little clip to take the stock chain off, so is there one or how do i get it off

No there is no master link on a stock chain. You can use a chain breaker or you can do what I did and, if youre not gonna reuse it, cut it with bolt cutters.

...or pull the swingarm bolt, drop your swinger and slide your rear axle out. This doesn't damage anything and your chain will obviously be perfect, if it was to begin with. You have to do more work, though.

id go w/ the bolt cutter idea or a hacksaw. although i guess it depends on if you wanna reuse it or not. I was replacing both sprockets and chain so the easier the better i went the hacksaw route.

take a dremal and cut a link out, then if you wanna reuse it but a clip type master link, or a rivet style one your choice and put it back on... simple... dont go pullin your swing arm and all that **** off.... way too much work.....

I always use a grinder to get the chain off. Just gind one side of any link off. And put it back together with a master link.

thats how i do it as well. use an angle grinder to grind the pins on one link down, then use a punch to pop them out. then you can just use a master link to re-install.
