So i use to have a 440 kit in my 400. Now i have the stock jug and all the stock motor parts. My jets are still the same from the 440 kit. I didnt jet it here, it was jetted in Pennsylvania by the last guy. I looked at them today and they are 165 and 45. Since i have the stock motor now, should i adjust the jets? i notice it cut out just a tad bit every now and then. What should i do?

You should Definitely rejet. Stock settings are 148K main and 38K pilot. If you have a slip on exhaust or your air box lid is off than I would go with a 155K to 160K main and 42K pilot. If it's mostly stock than stick with 148K to 152K main and a 40K pilot.

I have a HMF slip-on, K&n with the lid on, and motor wise thats about it...so i should go with a 160, 42

Try a 152 or 155 and a 42. Are you using a Jet kit or individual Keihins? I don't know the conversion to Dynojet or K&N it is on this site somewhere.

152K Main and 40K Pilot. The 155K might be a bit too big.

Im buying individual keihins...So i should go with a 152k and a 42k?
