View Full Version : Hard to start 06 trx90

It starts ok it just wont stay running. You have to sit there with it for at least 10 min. babying it with the gas or it will die. After that it starts and runs great and will restart great. When I got it the dealer gave me a little plug that goes the hole in the air box lid that acts as a restrictor. Now can I get by with just adjusting the mix or do I need to rejet or do I have something else wrong.

All stock.

i had the same problem with my 07 i just tured the idel up very little and it works great know

Bump your slow jet up one size makes evrything better we do that to all the new one at the shop before leaving the showroom you wont be disappointed.

what size is that as well as what kind of jets does the honda have in it?

What is menat by SLOW JET? And where do you guys by them? I guess dratv would be a good source, but what sizes should I get?

This is where I got mine...I got a 42 and 45 since 40 is stock. It all depends on your mods but in stock form i would start off with the 42.
