Camcorders

Im looking to purchase a new camcorder soon. i don't want to spend a lot so around $300 or less. will that even get me something decent? If so what do you recommend? i will mostly be using it for filming races and stuff like that so something that will film that without a blur. also something capable to connect to computer, or like the dvd type...

yeah you can get a pretty good camcorder for $300, but if i was you, i would check out craigslist.org, and see if you cant get a used one locally, i looked earlier and they had a ton of video cameras in my area
