Stock for stock an 03 pred wins the 04 and newer preds seem slower to me.

As for my 04 hrc or other hrc'd r's they win hands down

I have raced my 04 when it was stock vs a pred with exhaust and beat it. They arent slow bikes. I just dont like the way they ride they feel like a 4by lol

The PoPo absolutly spanks the 450r the 450r sadly is hands down the worst of the 450's the yfz is still top dog between the 450's

I never said they were slow. But seriously I havent lost to one yet. Also saying the yfz is the best 450 out is your opinion. They are both good bikes. Its all about what you like to ride.

I have raced Predators with the baffle out and rev box with my Raptor 700r and YFZ450 and I usually get beat, not to brag or anything but im no slouch when it comes to any type of riding. Predators are just plain wicked machines, very under rated. And they deserve some respect, thats all there is to it.

That doesnt make sense to me. I had nothing done to my 04 450r and raced two different guys that were piped and beat them. I mean not smoking them but still. Like I said they arent slow. But defintely heavy feeling. And not nimble.

wayfastwhitey69 and 300EX#5 are classic examples of kids that think they know what they are talking about...when in reality all they do is rehash what other misinformed people say so please don't help spread ignorance because they'll tell 2 friends and they'll tell 2 friends and so on and so on...you get the point.BTW- they do not represent the thoughts or intelligence of Canadians.

Now that I have cleared that up...I have raced Predators and I have to say they are very close when both are stock.Rider ability would defintely play a big role in who would win.Once they both get modded (cams,pipe,piston)the 450R does gain an edge.The stock airbox probably plays a big role in that....they are very restrictive.I'm not sure if the newer models have remedied that problem or not.

Anyway..one thing is for sure,they are not slow by any means and I am sure there have been a few 450 owners that have been surprised by them....I was.

Mostly depends on the rider when it comes down to it. But if you wanna find out i'm always down to race. And the only things I have problems with usually is modded banshees and modded yfzs.

So it's rider ability when you race a 450R but you have problems when you race a YFZ:confused:

Yeah baisicly. YFZs are fast as hell. Especially after a pipe intake and jetted right. Not trying to bash the honda's because no doubt there bad *** machines, but I personnaly think the yfz's are quicker in a straight line. The pred and the R are more of an even race therefore it's really up to rider abillity. Thats just from my personal experiences though.
