92 chevrolet performance chip

does anyone know where the engine computer chip is on a 92 chevrolet? a few people have told me its behind the glove box in the dash. ive looked but cant find it.

sometimes under the dash, but to the right. more twards the door, buried under the carpet.

yep thats where its at just take the backing cover out and you'll see the box there, it just plugs into the back of it. it took me forever to figure it out too whenever i did it. did you buy a new chip or get a custom one burnt? go to www.fullsizechevy.com and browse around
