Bad day- ordered tires... did I make a mistake?

Im hoping now that I did not make a mistake...

I ordered the holeshot xcr's

22x7x10 in front on 10x5 rims...

rears are 20x11x10

I went to 10's because of the backspacing, and I could tuck the rim in 1 inch compared to the 9's... Kind of no big deal now due to the xc lonestar axle...

So the rear bajas are 10x8... with a 11 inch tire... did i make a mistake....

Should I go 9x9 instead of 10x8???

So why did you get 10" rear wheels?

20x11x10 means 20 inch diameter/height of tire, 11 means the width, and 10 is the wheel diameter to be used, nothing in the tire or wheel size has anything to do with backspacing. Backspacing on ATV wheels is refered to as the offset, not sure what rear wheel offsets are but fronts are stock usually 3:2, which means 3 inch inside 2 inch outside, u can get 4:1 fronts also which are 4 inch inside and 1 inch outside which will make it narrower then a 3:2

i think u got ur numbers mixed up in the tire size, 11 is the width, the main number u need to worry about for wheels is the last in the tire number, if u have a 10" wheel u will be alright with ur tires but if not then yes u messed up.

My worry was a flat tire that is 11 inches wide, on an 8 inch wide rim. I thought it might round the tire....I was going to go with 10's because the offset is 3+5... 9 inch rims are 3+6. 9's would stick out an extra inch...

3:6 isn't as common as 4:5 on a 9inch rim. Usually to get a 3:6 you have to special order them. 4:5 is much more common.

I run the 20/10/9 on the rear and love it.I would never run a 20' tire on a 10' rim.Just my opinion unless it was a TT tire or a duner!!!Run the 9 in the rear and i promise u wont regret it!!!And the XCR' are awesome great choice!!!

eh with the 10 you are going to smack a few lips. I lost 3 10" wheels before I switched to 9" bajas. There is one upside to the 10", more aluminum to scrap to get money..lol

If you want to mount you 11 inch wide tire on an 8 inch wide rim it will be just fine. you should measure the tire from bead to bead and i bet that will be about 8. but you should be fine. as long as the beads seat good and it holds air. make sure you lube the bead for proper seating though.
