I was just wondering if any one knows if the head gasket from Namura tecnolgies is close to the xr400s head gasket in thickness, cause i got the wiesco 11:1 piston in my 426ex and was wondering if im getting the full potential out of it,i heard wiesco pistons aren't a true 11:1 and that you need to run the xr400 head gasket to bump the compression up and to use hondas high temp silicon for the base gasket.help me out guys, could some elaborate on this, yes i know its probably been done 30 times and if so im sorry.thanks everyone

Cant you run no gasket and just gasket maker for higher compression?

krt400ex yeah thats what i heard you get rid of the o ring gasket on the base and just use honda high temp sealent,if i do that will my Namura gasket work and have bumped the compression to close to whats its suposed to be?11:1

Don't get rid of the o-ring that goes around the bottom of the sleeve. That's a different piece then the base gasket.

Personally, I don't like the idea of running no base gasket. But I imagine it's been done. If you want to get max compression out of your piston just run the thinnest gaskets you can find.
