i was thinking about cutting some unused plugins off of my harness. i was just wondering if anyone else has done this?? and if it would still work correctly without the plug-ins for the tail light, head light, and fan.

leave the fan alone--- if you pull all the plastic off and get a copy of the wiring diagram for your year specific- you can trace many wires and extra harnesses and delete them from your harness-- i complety did this on my 06 harness- probably about a pound to a pound and a half of weight savings in plastic harness and wire-- just be extremely careful to check twice and cut once---

I sent my 04 harness to JH racing. For like $30 they removed all of the excess BS including the fan. I haven't had any trouble without it for MX racing. I might have kept it for a desert or woods racer.

- i left it in for tight tracks such as indoors and my practice track-- ( i am running engine ice also-- i have yet to hear it kick in since the 13.5 to 1 piston and port and polish-- but mx gets really muddy sometimes---)

i had Baldwin do mine. it was $45. he did an amazing job. cut about half the stuff out. plus, he wired in my tether with a plug in.
