View Full Version : Stock Front Wheel Backspacing

I need to order some new Baja rims, and I want to match the front backspacing.... is it 4+1 or 3+2
My guess is 4+1.........
I just measuered it, but i cant remember..... It sucks getting old.

Really..... I cannot picture the lip being that wide......
My guess would have been wrong....

When I measured my stock wheels I came up with 4:1.5. When I went to 4:1 aftermarket wheels and no other changes, the front of the quad was 1 inch narrower, so that would make the stock wheels at 4:1.5 pretty close. If you go with 4:1, you will be 1 inch narrower, if you go with 3:2, you will be 1 inch wider.

stock offset is 3:2, if u use 4:1 it will make the front end 2" narrower overall,1" on each side.

the 3:2 bajas will make your front end wider. My front is about 44" and the rear is at like 47.
