250R axle into a 450?

I have a Dominator axle in my 250, Will this work in a 450? How about the carrier or anti fade?

ive heard alot of no's. the axle it self will fit well in the carrier but i think the rear sprocket doesnt line up with the front one. but there was a guy on here who said he rode with one for more than a full season
