What kind of lift do you use to work on your quad?

Will a regular motorcycle lift work?

Please post photos so I can understand.

Thanks,
mike

I have a harbor freight lift that works well but nothing beats a 5 gal. bucket.

If you get the AC stand, how in the heck do you lift the quad up onto it?

I use a lift from craftsman. I have the more expensive one, i think it is about $90 but it works good and it puts it at the perfect height when i sit on my roll around stool. Also i can roll the quad around the garage floor with it on the stand.

Uh, don't use one, if you need to work under it then lift it on its grab bar.

Just stand it up on the rear grab bar and then set the stan in front/underneath the frame at the foot pegs and pull it down on top by the a-arms or front bumper.

Very easy to do.

How high in the air does the lift bring your quad? With it in full extension like in the photo, what is the height of the center of the wheels? Inches please.

Wow, I don't even use a barrel. If I have to get to something underneath that I can't reach, I flip it onto it's back bumper. And if I'm taking the wheels off I have a plastic milk crate thing that I sit it up on.

Oh Grant, your back tires are just a tad less than fresh. :)
