stuck rings????

what are signs on rings sticking or reeds messing up. i got a .60 over head ported and polished, with v-force reeds, paul turner mx pipe with pro circuit silencer. i was running 110 with klots oil. i ran outta gas and it was hesitating and then went put put boom out the exhaust. well i then put honda oil mixed 28 to 1 with 89octane gas and it wont start. it has compression and hot spark. what could be wrong????

check the flywheel key. did you rejet with the oil change?

Just out of curiosity would the backfire cause the flywheel key to get messed up? I'm experiencing a smiliar problem, except mine runs but jsut not as well as it was...

check your reeds, I've heard that backfires on 2strokes destroys reeds. dont know for sure though

the reeds broke off and went inside the head. we fixed it, put in cr250 reeds with a spacer. now it has much better powerband.
