PLEASE HELP! 450r question

Hi, i am doing some mods to my 400ex, and i purchased a 450r carb off of a 2005. I already installed it, but i am wondering about the two electrical connections, and if they need to be hooked up at all, and i noticed there is an open hole in the top front of the carb. What is that for? Any help would be great. Thanks alot. Please see the pictures.

hole on top by the choke is for the hot start

large electrical thing screwed on the side is the throttle sensor

and I'm not sure what your other arrow is even pointing at...heater cable?

Make sure to plug the hotstart hole. Just leave the TPS alone. It normally communicates with the 450r's CDI, but the 400ex CDI doesn't have that ability. The other thing is a carburator heater. It's suppose to pre-heat the fuel to aid in its vaporization under cold conditions. You don't need that either.
