I think Spring is finally here ! The ground is thawing and once again I'm able to dig in the dirt.
I'm working on the dining hall track getting it ready for the Memorial weekend Night Race. Here's a pic of the step up jump just before the dining hall jump - before its makeover??!!

This was the after shot......... Not a good pic, It took me all day to make the change, was almost dark when I was done. I'll post a better pic tomorrow along with photos of what I do tomorrow.

How far is Ocean City, MD from there? I think I might be visiting a friend on the East coast this summer. :)

I think it would be about 4-6 hours depending on what route you have to take. Breezewood is 3 hours from me and I'm 30 miles from Philadelphia, it takes about about 2 almost 3 to get to Ocean City from where I am at now.. Just a rough estimate! :macho :)

id like to see that corner worked as well, but the tree beside that table is the one thats gone. couldnt get much of a good pic there because of that tree:scary:

I made some more changes today, but it was too dark by the time I got out of the loader to take a pic. I'll take some more tomorrow.

Before I said I was going to take out the downhill ski jump. I was taking it out because with our memorial weekend (May 26th) Nite race, where the starting line was going would of made that jump right out of the first turn.
I changed where the starting line will be and now I think I can keep the downhill ski jump in. I'm going to widen it twice what it is.

Hey Casey,
Our Official Spring Opening is March 31st / April 1st. We are already open 5 days a week - Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Looking forward to having you and Kevin and the whole group up for a weekend in the cabin. Were having a pig roast and cook-out that Sunday.

Still making changes - Forgot pics today but will post more changes tomorrow. Working on making the side by side doubles on the dining hall track a little different. I just made the inside double a little bigger and made it hold water so it will be a water jump to discourage people that don't jump it from taking that line. The outside line will be a 45-50' table top with a nice run at it. Pics will be posted tomorrow night.
Tracks are open - dry and draining well. Come on out and Ride.

Snow is in the forecast, but we don't always get the weather they call for here. I think all the mountains around us keep alot of the rain and snow away.
I'll post track conditions on a new thread Friday afternoon.

Its a big camper it would have to go on the advance track. Would probally make a really marketable rental - Camping under the jump - spectacular views - easy access to the track etc...

I'm not too fond of the downhill ski jump myself, but if it's still there I'll have to deal with it. I had a little "incident" on it, resulting in cracked ribs.:(

The park is open 5 days a week, closed only on Tuesday and Wednesdays.
You can ride from 8am until 8pm.
Prices are: $35 for a one day pass,
$50 for a two day pass,
and $60 for a 3 day pass.
Cabin rentals are $120 per person and includes the cabin and riding fee's for all day friday saturday and sunday. (book your cabin well in advance).
We have our spring Opener Celebration this weekend, with a free cookout on Sunday with a pig roast and pit beef. Hope to see you here.
