i have to buy a new chain, which chain is best in price and long lasting. also what length should i buy, should i buy the stock length or different, the sprokets are 13/39

Stock is 520-94. That will fit your set up. The chain size is 520 and it needs to have 94 links. Make sure you buy a good quality O-ring chain like D.I.D.

i have been using primary drive for about 3 years on my 416ex have not had any problems with the chain braking for the price u can't beet it their sprockects r good to i usally bye them as a package you will sace some $. jmo

Unless your sprockets are in like-new condition, replace them with the chain. Generally, chains and sprockets should be replaced as a set.
I've used everything from top of the line (DID ERV3) to the budget conscience Primary Drive stuff on a variety of different machines. If I just wanted a basic chain that's gonna last a while, Primary Drive is hard to beat. Get an O or X-ring.

They're very close to being the same thing--especially if your not looking at high-end chains. In theory an X ring is better because each ring has two small sealing points instead of one big one. That gives better sealing with less friction.

X-ring but there's nothing wrong with a regular O-ring.
