Which ignition to use??

I am trying to decide on which ignition to get for my project R.

I have the chance at a used CR250 setup with 14oz flywheel weight, but missing the coil wire, or a new PVL ignition complete.
I can get the PVL for a bit cheaper.

Which would be the better ignition. I have heard many good things about the CR250 setup, but I cant really find much on the PVL systems.

Can anyone give me a comparison?

i use a 1997 cr 250 set up bolt on and go thats all I know with the esr adapter plate, get a new coil at service honda i think they are $25 i thought sombody said you had to set the timming with the pvl

you do on a pvl, if you don't do it right, your top end can be very short lived.
