Can anyone tell me the difference between the EBC "SV" and the EBC "MXS" brake pads? I know the MXS come with new pins, but I'd like to know which last longer, I assume the SV. And which stop better? I assume the MXS stop better..

But you know what happens when you assume! Just looking for feedback from people that have used these brakes. I am also getting the EBC rotors.

Thanks, I got a reply from Rockymountainatv the other day.... so I ordered the SV's last night.

The Severe Duty pads are made for wet or muddy conditions. The have a higher density compound which makes them longer lasting and more durable. The MXS pads were developed for aggressive riding and racing. They are going to last longer than most carbon brake pads. It will depend on what type of riding you do for the brake pads you need.
