How tall are stock 450r shocks?

Hey Adam,

Are you talking about the fronts or the rear?

The Rears will differ from the 04-05 to the 06-07.

I am pretty sure that the fronts are the same. I think the fronts are 16.5" long if I remember correctly.

fronts on 450Rs are 17.5, or very close to it. 16.5 if 400ex length shocks.

LTR are only 17.2

thanks guys, ya I sold mine and am running 400ex shocks till I get my marvin shaws. I was really hoping the 400ex would be at least an inch shorter then 450. oh well. it will get me by till I get my marvins.

Find some 300EX shocks! That's what I have heard of others using on 450Rs for drag purposes

ya I had actually bought a pair, but it sat WAY to low. they are only 13" eye to eye!!

i tt race with a set of forman 450 shocks on the front of mine i took the 450r springs and put em on the foreman450 shocks and they work perfect
