400ex help

[44ex#14]

i have a 1999 440ex and i got it took apart to put new topend gasket in it and in the head there is like a little pin that goes up there. i lost the pin and i cant find it so how do i find one? does n e one got one thanks

Which pin would this be?

Are you talking about a dowel pin or the little piece that does something with the decompression mechanism on the cam.

Yeah like Kalebarellano said i think your talking about the little steel pin and spring under the camshaft witch is on i think the cam chain side but cant really remember if someone could correct me i pretty sure thats the side?But anyways is that what it is?
