If i buy a new 416 or 426 cylinder/piston and the rest of the stuff, I don't need to get the "head" bored to accomodate the cylinder do I? The cylinder would fit, it would just be thinner from wiseco correct? Just making sure I got it right....thanks

No. You won't need to modify the head. Your cylinder is the part that gets bored out to accomidate the larger piston. Although, while it's apart its wise to inspect the valves, valve seats, and valve springs for wear. This is especially true on older and high hour engines. No sense putting it back together with worn out parts.
