If you are talking about the VP-110, it looks like it should work fine. I like the price of only 4 dollars a gallon compared to the almost $8 a gallon I pay for VP12 ($39 for a 5 gallon drum)... Ouch!:(

BTW... Where (what store) did you get the purple VP?

Note: Unless you have a high compression ratio, like 11:1, I think you will be wasting your money on race gas.

There are different types of VP gas you can run on a stock bike compression, but i belive you might need to rejet to run them. its a slight boost in octane but it would help in acceleration.

i run 110 Power Mist in my 400ex and all i had to do was size down the main jet to a 140. The race gas wont hurt anything, its thinner, burns cooler and quicker and a **** of alot cleaner. What race gas does is this: on regular pump gas , every power stroke of the motor your rear wheel will spin 4 inches, well with race gas your wheels will spin 6 inches each power stroke. Thats what i was told

ntp-- someone is YANKING your chicken hardcore!!

race gas burns SLOWER, has a HIGHER FLASHPOINT. and helps the motor run COOLER since the lead helps to dissapet heat faster.

if you run race fuel on a stock motor it wont hurt anything but you could actually LOSE power since the compression ration is not high enough and the fuel may not be getting completely burnt.

the higher the octane the SLOWER the fuel burns, and the flash point is INCREASED

Note: I recently put the VP12 in my 10.8 to 1 compression ratio 400... I used it straight and found no difference compared to Sunoco 94 pump gas. I was trying to get rid of a "bog", and was hoping the 108 octane race gas would solve it... Nope.:(

I get my C-12 from the Honda dealership too and its only $4.75 a gallon!!! Now that I have to run C-14 I have to drive 60 miles to a wholesaler to get the C-14 or C-14+ and its $6 a gallon!!

With my 416 kit and 10.8:1 compression I ran half VP Red and half pump gas!!

I wish I could find C-12 for $4 a gallon....around here the price is $6.00 a gallon and no real discount if you buy it in any kind of qty.. I've switched to Unocal 110 because I can find that for anywhere from $3.95 - $5.00 a gallon and when your are buying say 30 gallons at a time, that $2 bucks a gallon adds up quick!! In our 400, I've been running a 3-2 mix (3 race - 2 super) with 11:1 compression
