will the 16t sprocket make a big difference or will i feel any changes???

if u are stock then ull lose a bit of power...if uve got exhaust, jetted, then yea ull get about a 5-10 dependin on tires size, and still have power like u did before

I have a stock 2000 400ex, and I use 16front and 37 back...
I love this combo, it seems to take off quicker and top end is wicked for a stock 400 anyways, I just went out and bought every combo of sprockets and tried them all and I found that combo worked for me....

you will probably feel a slight power loss, but top speed will be higher. i like teh 16, but currently run a 15t for tight trails. i cannot see how people ride these things with a 14, i lost way to much top speed and found it useless, shifting all the time. i personally prefer stock gearing, or i use a 16/39 combo
