any one ever make thier own healguards out of diamond plate or aluminum sheet metal? my dad and i both have the plastic stockers on our quads and are looking to fab up somthing to replace them. we have access to all the tools we need to make them, just looking for some general ideas. dont really want to pay 150 bucks for aftermarket ones.:p

use the stock mounts and weld the sheet metal to your exsisting hardware

wow thats a pretty good idea! im glad this thread came up, im looking to do the same thing
