Inspecting Crank Shaft, What Do I Need To Look Out For?

I am considering rebuilding the bottom end if needed. I am not sure what exactly to for when before splitting the case. The top end is off and getting ported to 265cc from stock.

Please let me know!

Make sure there's no up and down play in the rod.
