I am planning on going to a race soon and have to bring 3 quads but my enclosed trailer is too small.Would it be ok to stand the quads up? Do I have to empty my gas tank?

you should be fine with just turning the gas off, but it will take a while before they will start again, maybe 10-15 minutes

2 strokes ok. 4 strokes you better let the bike sit after. All the gas in the carb will drain which is normal.

Why would they take a while to start?

I'm not sure why they take so long to start

but, 2 strokes start better than four strokes. it has to do with the carb and fuel/air mixture.

If you stand them up, then once at the track unload them and let them sit while putting gear on, you should be fine

I think they will start fine once you turn the gas on and it gets into the carb (instantly). you better just let the 4 stroke sit so the engine oil can spread out. Since the engine oil is in the gas on the two stroke just fire those ones up

ive done it that way plenty of times. just turn your gas off and let it drain out of the carb. make sure your gas dosnt come out of the gas cap. when you unload turn the gas on and let it sit for like 5 min so the oil can get back to the bottom of the engine and then start it up (mine always starts up with no problems).

A lot of times you can't stand them up on a full tank. Many times the most they can have in the tank is what is in the reserve only or they will leak.

Also, what I recommend to help start them easily is leave your gas off when you are starting them for the first time and they will fire right up because they are just flooded and will only use the fuel in the carb.

Works like a charm. ;)

I suggest taken the airfilter off 1st. All that gas in the carb will drain right into it;)

if it is electric start, then it wont take long at all. pump the throttle a few time, and then hit the button while giving it a little gas
