Buy one from Honda, about $20 well worth it. you shouldnt need to change the plug that often

exactly, its a yamaha, only supposed to change the plug when you are adjusting the carb, and doing the once a year mait.(or at least thats what i do), c'mon now you should know that :chinese:
and anyway, i take my plastics off pretty much everytime i wash it, so its really not that bad, and my carb is adjusted correctly so the chances of flooding it arent that great.

How on earth did you make your own. I would really like some pics so I don't have to waste like 20 bucks on that.

boug a brand news socket for 3$, grind it till it fit!
dont need to thighten the spark plug up to 100lbs so it's OK with the thinner wall.

here is my how to!
buy the cheapess socket ever seen!
find any form of grinder!
remove almost 1/8 1/16 of the whole box!
here is a picture of how much you need to remove.

continue doing this, to thin the socket on the whole surface

Mcleod nice job on that socket now it should be easier to get to the plug because you can put an extension on and use a ratchet witch will be faster not that the stock wrench is hard to use but its just trying to get the allen wrench through and then turning it hitting your knuckles , great job finding that out im going to do that also

I bought a stanley junker from walmart that fit right in....:)
I went to a shop and they gave me a honda one for free. Well it was to short. I found that the raptor660 spark plug wrench worked perfect on the ex.

Stanley tools in all honesty are pretty good. Stanley owns Proto Tools and Black Hawk. stanley-proto.com or stanleyproto.com. Used to think they weren't the best quality until I found that out.
yeah the spark plug is like impossibly to ge out i hate it. The litte tool they give you in the tool kit that comes with the quad doesnt work very well at all

yeah the plug is in a bad spot. not to mention all the little rocks, dirt, and all the other garbage that you have to blow out with an air hose down in the hole b4 you take the plug out.
at least on the raptors they have a rubber cover that completely covers the hole.

something else - the gat darned oil fill on the stock oil tank. pain in my ace if you ask me
the only bad part about the loaction of the dipstick is its really close to your headers and when you go to check your oil after you have been riding or its been running you have to be so careful. I burned my nuckles twice once was right through my glove they were so hot.
