Is it normal for shocks to sound like this

No dont worry its fine.I have brand new top of the line MX shocks and there sound is pretty Ugly!!!U dont here it when u ride so dont worry.My spring crossovers sound similiar!!!!

I did too at first because the stockers didnt do it but they were a single spring.Im sure some guys will tell u different but its normal for the noise when u have 2 or more springs all compressing together!!!I spent over $2000 and have the same thing!!!At 1st i was like WTF!!! then took a second to think about it!!!LOL!!

I sprayed them down with wd-40. The noise is all but gone

Yea, my Elkas sound like crap but you learn to live with it :)
