My 450r powered 350x.

I see my buddy Derrick has a thread started. I figured I would post up a few pic's & explain what I've done with my 86 350x. I got the wild Idea when my buddy who's 05 450r Is always sittting In my barn said, you don't have that motor In a 3 wheeler yet. I thought about It a while & said to myself that would probly fit In the X frame sweet. I was origionally gunna build a raped out 350x to compete with Derrick. Wow am I glad I put the 450r engine In, this thing Is a blast. Especially for a Hillbilly that loves 3 wheelers. I must admit though the stock 450r would catch a wippin In a drag race from my ported 250r 3 wheeler. But for mx this thing will be PERFECT. Globbs of torquey low end to pull screamin wheelie's off the turns. I must say Derrick & I should be tangled up quite alot this summer on the track. The engine really fit sweet, with minor frame mods. I mounted the oil coller under the tank with the origional lines & used a T3 radiator mounted on the tripples. I've ran It alot & she does'nt get hot, I love It.

Well I finally got the tripples made & Installed the forks. I need some brake parts from a cr125 or cr250. I'll keep the thread updated. Here Is a picture next to my 250r.

Wow, It Is amazing how some people just never have anything nice to say.

I felt that my built 350x motor was a waist. I would'nt waist a DIME on a 350x engine of any size, Bore, or stroke after running the 450. Awesome power & rev's like a 2 stroke.

Been trying to blow up my damn R engine so I can send the jug to ya to get bored and ported but damn that honda keeps on ticking! I ride it hard and mix at 70:1 and no luck? How do I blow it up? :-D

Hopefully I do something soon. I need my forks rebuilt by TF but I would also like to have my porting, boring, piston, CR head gasket, and other stuff before TF. We will see won't we? :D

I want to build either a cheap drag 250r too or some other custom project but I'm still throwin ideas in the think tank. Gotta jet my 36mm oval slide PJ kehin this weekend, what fun!
