Banshee 500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anybody know more about the 500cc 4-stroke Banshee? Suppose to have 85-89 hp. Thats right 85-89 hp!!! Do you have any idea how crazy that is. I know it's fuel injected, 2 cylinders, and will kill you if you give it the chance.

The 750EX was truly an April Fool's joke, because they claimed it was actually coming out. Never once did Dirtwheels claim that the 500CC banshee 4-stroke is definitely coming out.

However, they DO claim that there are banshee prototypes in the works. This I believe is entirely possible. Yamaha already has 500CC 4-stroke twins in their snowmobile line, it's not too difficult to imagine they might also appear in a new quad, or at least the idea is being tested.

However, I would imagine that it would be reduced to under 450cc. AMA rules don't limit cylinders, do they? Just total displacement?

i remmeber years ago people were rumoring a 500 twin 2 stroke banshee...lol itll never happen a 500 4 stroke..MAYBE but i wouldnt count on it....id rather see the banshee die the way it should

Imagine if the motor decided to blow up or it ruin's the head's, that's a lot of money.. :eek2:

thats what the company want...or they want a 4 or 5 year old 4 stroke to blow up..why fix the motor for 2K when the whole thing is only worth 2800ish...migth as well go buy a new one and the big companys get another 7K out of you...i bet they hate to see the old 250rs and zillas getting fixed for 150 bucks if they blow a piston and then on top of that they r 20 years old and still are crazy fast

on bansheehq there are 10+ threads about a 2007 Banshee!!!! Every month someone tries to tell then members that they are stil making banshee like we dind;t know 6 months ago

and there are at least 5 about a 500cc Banshee!!!!

yeah i cant wait for the 2007 350 twin banshee, its going to be just like the 1991 banshee !!!!
