My OEM service manual says dry weights are: 328.4 for 86/87 and 324 for 88/89. Bear in mind, when Honda says dry they mean DRY!--no break fluid, no shock fluid, no grease, etc.

FWIW, there's a 23.5lb difference in dry weight between 250r and 450r engines.

Keep in mind that the 328 dry also included a headlight, full fenders, big heavy tires and wheels, and a lot of other stuff that most people remove or replace with lighter parts. I know that I removed a good amount of weight from mine.

Yeh, its like 325, but it feels so much lighter, I don't even have to think about lifting mine up, then I go lift a 300ex or a 450 and its like, Ok, get ready for it, LIFT!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHH. LoL, I'm not weak I'm just goin over the top but it is a LOT harder to lift anything than 250r.

Some guy was tellin me his lt250r wieghed 230, I'm like, uh.....................................no.

my baja frame on my hybrid is alot heavier. I can lift my 88 on the grab bar easy, but they hybrid is quite heavier. The motor doesn't weight that much more. I thought most aftermarket frames were heavier and ALOT stronger. I know the frame that is gonna be made for my atc250r will be heavier due to stronger and thicker tubing. Stock frames are made from thin and light metal, aftermarket ones are much stronger, thus.....thicker steel and usually heavier.

My arens frame is right around the 39-40lb mark on my bathroom scale. My stocker was around 50lbs. on the same scale. The Baja lonestar frame is made with thicker walled tubing than the standard frame. The baja frame will be a tank.

I've just weighed my stock '87 frame on the bathroom scale and it weighs in at 38 pounds.

hmm I will have to re weigh mine. Mine is a stock 87 frame and even has a few useless tabs removed. One of us is wrong. Most likely myself. My arens frame feels lighter to lift up tho. o well

This particular bathroom scale makes my wife really happy, so it could be off.
