the boyueson quick shot is an fuel accelerator pump cover that allows more fule into the acc. pump. this give a longer shot of fuel into the carb when you "stab" the throttle and eliminates a bog that the fcr carb tends to have. another and much cheaper way to fix this is a smaller leak jet

I've heard the Boyesen (sp) one is pretty good. From what I've read the smaller leak jet is a better and much more cheaper fix to the problem.

I have one. The improvment i got was nothing that could be felt. The reason people buy them is to get rid of th ebog when you jab the throttle. If you want any more porformance to the BK mod.

thanks for the replies.

another question i don't need to waste space on a new thread.

could the quickshot be the reason why my bike is spuddering and maken little noises like its not gettin enough gas, the only thing is that it only happens in fifth gear. every other is perfect but you get to fifth and it just sounds like hell

the sputtering sounds like a main jet problem...not from the Quickshot.
