I've been running Dyno jets for awhile and now I'm thinking of reverting bad to Keihin. Can someone tell me the difference between Keihin and DynoJet jets as far as comparible sizes?

I'm currently running a Dyno 155 with a Keihin 40 slow jet, I have a Keihin 152 and 155 main. so I guess my question is is a Keihin 155 the same size as a DynoJet 155?

Dynojet jets and Keihin jets use a different scale. There is a conversion chart floating around that compares the actual measured orifice sizes. IMO, it's ok to use as a general reference but it's not fool-proof. Dynojet jets have a taper. Dynojet will tell you that this taper causes fuel flow through their jets to be a function of intake velocity as well as orifice size. In other words, a Dynojet jet may flow X amount of fuel at 4000rpm and Y amount of fuel at 7000rpm.

It's this feature that Dynojet believes will allow for the flattest air/fuel ratios across the entire RPM range.

I prefer Keihin jets for a variety of reasons.

You should try something in the range of 158K 160K 162K. Be certain to lose the DynoJet adapter you had installed as well as the DynoJet jet.
