I was told from a friend that if you hogged out the header pipe at the head side can make the pipe flow better for more performance. Has any one heard of this before.

I assume when you say "hogging it out" you mean grinding the welds on the inside of the header? If so, yes, it does help some from what I hear....

yes thats what I mean. My friend just did his but we are also in the process of putting it back togethor after painting the frame. I will know how it rides in a week.

Take off that head-pipe and hogg that mofo out like there is no tomorrow. "Hogg" that SOB till it's smooth as glass. :macho

need to get out more, "hoggin out the header" you guys kill me, especially rico and the caster, my side is still hurtin, here.:D

Yeah, we used to go Hoggin, back in college. The game was to see who could pick up the fattest, ugliest, hog in the bar and take her home. Nasty.

In regards to the Headpipe welds I did it and noticed a difference in the mid to top end. It seemed to breathe better and fatten up the throttle response........DO IT!!!

okay, call me dumb or wat ever, but i hear of everyone grindin out the welds, and i looked on my 250ex, and i dont know if it even has welds, but if it does i cant find them, anyone know

cheet put some water in his gas tank so it cant comperse n blow up his engine ive done it before n u wpnt get cought
