What does the condensor do that is under the front hood. It is the round cylinder with a red and green wire? I am trying to diagnose a no spark condition.

a condensor is a capacitor used to store voltages for the CDI to use on kick starting

Ok, I didn't know if this is part of the ignition system or the lighting on this model.

I know that it is a capacitor, but I thought it was for the lighting sytem. (I know the wire harness for my HID's plugs into the connectors for it.) I thought the lighting and ignition systems are totally seperate from each other, so I did not think that the condensor has anything to do with kick starting, but I could be wrong.
