I doubt thats something you'll just hear. They don't come out for 5 more months anyway.

Its possible.

I got a long survey from Honda about fuel injection a while back.

The more I read about the LTR and engine work, the less I like it. It sounds like a big pain in the *** and another way for someone to make more $ off the bike owner. When all bikes get fuel injection they will start changing for new maps. Jets are $4 a piece. I bet maps will be $10 and that will be $10 whether they work or not. They need to make it like cars where it adjust itself if they are going to do it. Closed loop is a bunch of sheet.

Hate to break it to you, but getting the maps changed are probably going to be more than $10. It requires being brought to the dealership to have it dialed in or you need to buy a $400 device to do it yourself. Kinda makes that jet kit for $50 look nice, huh?

I am willing to bet that honda will be a maybe for EFI they always wait and perfect. Yamaha well a little donkey LMAO...told me that they were testing a 4-valve EFI motor systems to release mid to late 08. So i guess well see and i would be willing to put money on it that they junk that 5-valve head.

You can get maps dialed using a dyno "sniffer", no big deal. Get HP/torque curve readings and completely tuned without having to turn a single wrench. They will all be FI in the future, and I hope it's sooner than later
