I hardly have time to race. I've been in novice for three years cause I dont do enough tracks to get out. I think I might bump myself up. I used to have a 400ex with black maiers and klotz graphics. Last year I did hardly any racing. I raced royal wednesday nights, then I did twister fridays until I crashed then I stopped for the year. It was my first year on the 450 last year. I think I remember you from royal when you used to race. You had a 330R right? Have you been to any of the races lately? AM class has gotten pretty fast now. Definitely a lot more quads racing now. I wont be able to do anymore weekday races now with the new job and I relocated out west to cazenovia, so Ill probably try and do the sunday races, maybe then I can get out of novice:ermm: My names Mike Wood if that helps even though there is three mike woods in D3 now. haha. Theres mike wood who races a white 450R in expert, me, and another mike wood in novice on a yfz

Ohh gotchya, ya I been asking around who's going to be in am and ex and by the sounds of it, it's going to be tough but we'll see. Yea I used to have a 330r and I just built another 330r and hopefully I'll have the same outcome as before. I dont know why but I just couldnt didnt like the 4 strokes when I was racing mx.. really weird

Well if thats what you're used to it sure would be hard to adapt. Amateur has gotten so much more fast its just rediculous. Even novice, although there are still the usual squirrels, had some fast people. At royal mountain the only holeshot I ever pulled was after I put my cam in my 450! Even then it was very close. The sunday races got to the point where it was almost stupid to watch cause you knew the outcome. The porters would usually go 1-1 in expert and am, and once in a while if they had a bad day someone else would win and it was usually the same guy. Where abouts are you from, we should get together and ride sometime.

That's funny you ask I'm about 15 minutes away in glen. There's quite a bit of places to ride.. You know all the riders from a-dam the town of florida group there.

First time racing ever? Yeah try novice first, you'll be suprised. If you've raced before at least try novice for a couple races to see how you do. You can always move up, but not back down.

D34 is now Walden, Broome Tioga and Hurricane Hills. Southwoods, dback, claverack and ace backed out of the AMA. So there an outlaw series now, MSC.

yeah that's me..and that was my first time ever on a race quad. i had only ridden a suzuki LTZ250 previous to that. Steve talked me into racing it that weekend....

over the past couple of years i have been riding with steve every time we get the chance. We've gone all over riding and we hit up our practice track as often as possible, and he's been teaching me a lot. Riding with him has made so much of a difference.

I have raced before, and about a month ago i raced motorama. I made 3 out of 4 mains all weekend(got tangled up going for the holeshot in saturday's production b class), and won a couple of my qualifiers and placed second in the main. I didn't do too bad.

So I won't be the rider you saw at motocuse haha...

Yeah in 2006 I only raced twice and it wasnt on my 4 wheeler so it was a waste of time, in 2005 I raced about every race there on my predator. I plan on racing motomasters by summer hopefully.

steve will be showing all of us up at a few district races, but he's racing all of the wpsa rounds this year along with select ama/atva events. He was talking about going to broome april 11th if the track is in good shape. And yeah, trying to keep up with him will get you fast pretty quickly. He's done so much to help me get better, and I'm hoping it all pays off for me this season.

I used to be from D3, I planned on racing last summer, but money and a job got in the way of that. Once I get my quad running when I move back to NY I'll be up there racing.
