Problem with Maier plastics

So i've had my Maier plastics for about a month and a half now and i've encountered a problem. my battery box has fallen out and when i discovered the problem the battery was hanging from its cables because the bottom of the battery box had just dropped out. wat could have caused this? does anybody kno if maier has a lifetime warrant or am i S.O.L?
