Whats the best hand guards for a 400ex? When i raced bikes i always used acerbis. Not sure what i should put on my quad and i'm getting tired of taking rocks off my knuckles.

i think acerbis are the best. BUt i just bought a pair of maier which cover the whole hand and protect great. Mightwanna check them out

Thats very true, or i kinda like what i did last weekend and pulled the holeshot in both my moto's and lead the whole way. Now if i could do that everytime i would be set!:D :D

I was looking to get the Rally Pro Series and i was wondering how hard it would be to mount them on my 400Ex.

On the clutch side i have a Cr250 Pearch and Lever and on the Brake side I am going to have a Cr250 front Brake Master Cylinder.

Will mine just bolt right up or will i have to do some mods.

THey should bolt right up, becuase they dont mount onto your clutch perch like open end handguards do. I would recommend the Rally II's i just got a set, and i love the things. They dont have the aluminum in them, but they do have a tough Nylon piece that runs through them, the are the ones that most of the pros run at the GNCCs, and they are cool as **** too!!

i have acerbis rally pro.... they are awesome for xc and woods but i go to mx and i cased one double my hand went over the bars and broke off the handguard and gave me a trip to the hospital with a broken wrist i thought bc it hit that hard... get non wrap around for mx and wrap out for xc
